This afternoon, Andrew, who has lived and taught in China, came to visit the children to tell them all about life in the country. The children loved hearing about how different the country is to ours and enjoyed many of the photos Andrew showed them. He taught the children a few Chinese words and they even practised writing in Chinese! To finish off, Andrew showed the children a Chinese version of chess. They were amazed by all the different figures on the board. The children have loved our China learning challenge and having Andrew visit Year 2 was a great way to end it.
