Heritage Day
On Wednesday March 13th Year 4 took part in a whole school celebration of our heritage. We started the day by learning about what heritage is and then taking a walk up Town Street to see how Farsley fitted into our own personal heritage. The children had lots of lovely stories about the history of their family and the places that were special to them in the village. In the afternoon, the children completed an art project based around Town Street. In Year 4 we drew sketches of Sunnybank Mills which we then filled in with either pastel pencils, colouring pencils or watercolours.
