Electrical components investigation 20.02.2018

Today, Year Six spent time investigating how the amount of components in an electrical circuit affected the brightness of a bulb. First we chose what we were going to vary. Some groups chose amount of batteries, some chose amount of bulbs and some chose to add extra components such as motors or buzzers. We predicted what we thought would happen to our bulbĀ and then built our circuit to test our predictions. We repeated the process multiple times with different variables and came to the conclusion that if we added more batteries, we would have a brighter bulb and if we had one battery and more of other components our bulb would be dimmer.
