Volcano Lava
This week in reception there's been an interest in volcanoes erupting so Miss Smith has been conducting some fun science experiments in the outside area. The children took part in making potions from vinegar, washing up liquid, bicarbonate of soda and food colouring. They mixed the ingredients together and were amazed when they exploded into colourful lava! The children experimented with different colours and mixed primary colours together to see what colour combinations they could find.
