Greek Day
On the first day of the Summer term year 5 were lucky enough to have some very special visitors, two archaeologists who specialises in the Ancient Greeks! The children and teachers arrived in a variety of Ancient Greek costumes for the day and took part in a range of activities including: looking at and analysing Ancient Greek artefacts, writing their name in the Ancient Greek language and playing Ancient Greek games such as quoits and trigon. The children thoroughly enjoyed the Ancient Greek experience and can’t wait to learn more about the topic over the course of the next half term!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
