In this year's KS1 Harvest Festival, Year 1 performed the story of the Little Red Hen. The children listened to the story and acted it out in class. We discussed how someone has to grow and make all the food we eat and so we should be thankful. The children created some excellent collages of the different animals from the story, exploring different colours and textures of materials. During the assembly, our extremely brave readers read the story aloud whilst some other children acted it out with masks. The children were excellent performers and enjoyed singing all of the harvest songs.
