We have had a great first week together ending with our trip to Leeds City Museum. Although it was a very wet day, we had a super time and all the children were brilliantly behaved. In fact, some members of staff were approached by members of the public to compliment the children's behaviour. The children explored maps and mapping using the floor map at the museum. They then went upstairs to find out how Leeds developed. After a quick stop for lunch, the children braved the British weather and went on the owl trail searching for owls on some of the city’s most well known building. The children also went to the library to learn about the Leeds Millennium Tapestry, something that we are hoping to recreate later in the term.
