Trip to Leeds 13.09.2016

Owl Trail (13/9/16)

The Year 4 children really enjoyed an exciting full day visiting important Leeds building as part of our current learning challenge 'Do we live in the best city ever?'. Children started their day with a visit to Leeds City Museum where we discovered how our landscape formed over time, started to look at the industrial revolution and how it was important for the development of our city as well as spotting famous Leeds faces on display. Children also toured around Leeds looking for evidence of our city's symbol - the wise owl! Finally the Leeds were treated to a talk and fact hunt at the Leeds Millennium Tapestry in Leeds Central Library in preparation for some upcoming artwork!
