At the end of September, Year 6 invited parents and family members from our school community to join them in the hall for a Macmillan coffee event to raise money for this brilliant charity that provides cancer support.  The children showed what active, responsible citizens they are by working hard to organise and run this event for charity.  They provided some fabulous entertainment and looked very smart in their waiters’ uniforms! On behalf of all Y6, we would like to say a HUGE thank you to parents, grandparents, friends etc for all the cake donations, raffle prizes and your fabulous support for our school and our children – we couldn’t do events like Macmillan without you all!  We are delighted to let you know that Year 6 managed to raise £762.89, which has now been donated to Macmillan.
