At Farsley Springbank Primary School, we are a community where every child is known, valued and inspired to be the best they can be.  We want our children to thrive in life — academically, socially and emotionally. 

Our vision is simple but powerful: to nurture learners who are Courageous, Kind and Curious — equipped with the character, skills and confidence to shape their own futures and contribute positively to the world around them.

Courageous

We want all our children to be confident and independent thinkers who are unafraid to take risks, face challenges and try new things. Being courageous means showing resilience when learning feels hard, standing up for what is right and believing in their ability to make a difference. Our children learn that courage is not the absence of fear but the determination to move forward with purpose and integrity, even when there are obstacles in our way.

Kind

Kindness is at the heart of who we are at Springbank. We want our children to act with empathy, respect and understanding — to listen carefully, include others and value every voice. Through our focus on kindness in all we do, we build a culture of belonging where everyone feels safe, supported and proud to be part of our school. We are one family and we all look out for each other

Curious

Curiosity drives our love of learning. We want our children to ask questions, wonder why and explore the world with open minds. Being curious means being creative, eager to learn and unafraid to think differently — finding joy and purpose in every new discovery.
