Year 2 trip to the Multiflight cafe and Otley Chevin

As part of their recent topic on The History and Development of Flight, our Year 2 pupils took an exciting trip to the Multiflight Café at Leeds Bradford Airport. The children loved watching a variety of planes take off and land while enjoying a hot chocolate - it was the perfect way to bring their classroom learning to life! Afterwards, the adventure continued with a visit to the Chevin, where the children enjoyed a woodland walk. We noticed signs of autumn - the trees were turning lovely shades of yellow, orange and red and the children loved seeing squirrels searching for food. We had a brilliant morning and came back to school full of stories about the planes they saw and the lovely walk we had in the forest.
