Spring 2 Week 3
This week has been Science Week so we started off the week with a lot of Science! On Monday, we investigated how sound fades as you travel further away from the source. We did this by using the app ‘Ardinuo’ on the iPad to measure the decibels. We had Nova Science visit us on Monday afternoon and they showed us lots of fun experiments! Later on Monday, we investigated pitch using water and cups. We know that the more water in a cup, the lower the pitch is.
In writing, we have been using a range of persuasive devices to write our Indian travel guides. We continued making pop up books in DT. In Geography, we compared a school in India to our schools, we found out that we had more similarities than we first thought!
In PE we developed our coordination and team work through tennis and Commando Joes.
