Spring 2 Week 5
This week started with a 'Science of Sound' workshop for 4H on Monday and 4R on Tuesday. Each class spent a day with 'Sam the Sound Man' celebrating all that they have learnt about the science of sound and conducting lots of experiments to help them deepen their understanding about this area of science! To finish off the day, the children all took part in an instrument making class and were able to take home their own instrument!
In writing this week, we have been making our travel guides! We have made sure that they are neat, colourful and full of the lovely writing that we have been doing over the past few weeks. In maths, we have moved on to decimals. We have been learning about tenths as decimals and we know that one tenth, is equal to 0.1. We have finished our DT pop up books and will be going down to Year 1 or Reception to read them next week!
