Autumn 1 Week 8
It's Arts Week!
We have had a brilliant final week of Autumn term. We started on Monday with a visit from Matt Abbot who is a poet and helped the children to create their own poems based on Farsley. In writing we have been looking at poetry, using metaphors to make a poem based on an animal. In art, we have been designing and making our own clay pots in the style of Grayson Perry. The children showed great determination with this and they all look amazing! We have had visitors from Backchat Brass on Thursday and watched a music concert from ex students of Springbank who are now at university.
What a fantastic first half term we have had, we hope you have a well deserved rest in time for a busy Autumn 2!
