Spring 2 Week 4
The Little Sing
This week Year 1 went to Pudsey Civic Hall to join in with lots of other school to sing songs about the sea. They were joined by two mermaids, a lobster and various other nautical character. They loved the experience and have continued to sing the songs all the way back to school.
DT Bridges
This week we experiment with making different types of legs and supports for our bridge tops. We thought about how to make the bases wider to make them more stable and also how to attach them securely.
Forest School - Tool Work (Hammer Skills)
This week we learnt how to use a hammer and nails safely. The children watched the 'tool talk' carefully and then designed and made their own item using paint pens and wool to add details.
