This week, Year 6 headed off to Eden Camp to learn more about Yorkshire at War. The children had chance to experience 1940s music, entertainment and wartime life by visiting the huge array of exhibits on display at the museum. Children experienced the noise and chaos of an air raid in The Blitz, had chance to sit in an air raid shelter, become a tank driver and stand up close and personal with some of the heavy artillery and machinery from the time. The children all said they really enjoyed the experience with lots of children saying they wanted to return with their families in the future!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
