Well, there we have it...SATs have been and gone! The children have been utterly fabulous all the way through. Their effort, perseverance and determination was clear for us all to see and we could not have been any prouder of the way they have applied themselves this week.
As we said at the end of last week, these tests do not define the children. They don't tell us how brave they are, how talented they are, how kind they are or how funny they are! They don't measure their helpfulness, cheekiness and overall amazingness, and they are now firmly in the rear-view mirror and we can concentrate on transition, production, art projects, group work and our final few trips of the year. First up - Ingleborough!
We are very lucky to have such a fabulous bunch of Year 6's and they have certainly earned their Friday of fun and games. We hope the children manage a fun-filled and rested weekend. Onwards to leavers...get your tissues at the ready, adults!
