It has been another absolutely jam-packed week in Year 6 with the majority of children having spent a day or two in their new high schools. We have had various emails and phone calls to say how fabulous the Springbankers were at their new schools and this just reaffirms what we think - that we really do have the best children.
As well as the excitement of transition day, we have also had our Year 5 and 6 Sports Day and what a fabulous morning it was. There was so much determination, perseverance and amazing sportsmanship on show and the final result was incredibly close with Lions just pipping the other teams to be the outright winners. A huge shoutout must go to our Sports Leaders who not only helped their teams accumulate points but they also helped run the finishing line, get teams to the start line and return equipment - they were the key to a very smooth running morning so thank you Sports Leaders, we couldn't have done it without you!
We have also completed our final trip of the year and what a way to finish...Junior Warrior is always a favourite event and this year certainly didn't disappoint. The weather was insanely hot but that just meant we were more grateful for the water and mud along the way. The smiles on the faces of the children just go to show how much fun this event always is and it really is a lovely way to sign off Springbank trips. You can see just how muddy we got on the photos below!
