School Uniform Policy

School Uniform policy

Our ambition is that our school uniform is comfortable and active so children are ready to engage in learning both indoors and outdoors.

Our school uniform is based on a bottle green colour for the upper body items such as jumpers, hoodies, cardigans and bottle green or white for polos shirts.

Our school uniform is based on a black colour for the lower body items such as jogging bottoms, leggings, trousers, shorts, skirts and pinafores.  All lower body items must be plain black.

There are no items of our school uniform where the school logo is compulsory. The school logo is optional for school jumpers, hoodies and cardigans.

We encourage plain polo shirts in either bottle dark green or white.

If parents have chosen the active version of our school uniform, including sturdy active school shoes or trainers this will also be the PE kit so there is no need for a separate PE kit.

If parents have chosen a version of our school uniform that means their child is not ready for PE, then please send a drawstring bag to school with a pair of jogging bottoms/leggings/shorts and a pair of trainers.

We ask that the children wear sturdy black shoes or black trainers to school.  This means children are ready to be active at any time.   Black trainers may have a small amount of white, for example a white sole.

Children should not wear jewellery to school such as necklaces, bracelets and rings.  Children can wear small stud earrings but these should be removed or covered for PE lessons.

Children may also require wellies and a waterproof coat during the winter months.
