What a brilliant final week of the half term it has been for our Year 2 pupils! The children successfully wrapped up their learning unit on fractions and have confidently begun telling the time using o'clock, half past, quarter past, and quarter to - any extra practice with clocks at home over the break would be a wonderful way to support them before this learning continues next term. In writing, we were absolutely thrilled with the care and dedication the children showed while creating non-chronological reports on plastic pollution, a project they became incredibly passionate about. This impressive focus carried over into art, where everyone took great time and pride in finishing their David Hockney-inspired swimming pool masterpieces. Finally, we topped off our busy week with a fantastic trip to Abbey House Museum, which perfectly sets the stage for next half term's exciting exploration of the British seaside and how it has changed over time. We hope you all have a restful, wonderful half-term break!
