Summer 1 Week 3

Summer 1 Week 3

As you can imagine, with SATs on the horizon, we have been focussing on revision this week in their maths and English lessons. It isn't all nose to the grindstone though as we have continued with our PE lessons, spent time together on the field having some brain breaks, celebrated David Attenborough's 100th Birthday with a live assembly and been very lucky to be visited by the fantastic Ross Welford - author of books such as Time Travelling with a Hamster and What Not to do if You Turn Invisible. It was a fantastic assembly, lead by Ross himself where children were treated to previews of his new book and even some real life magic...!

We hope you all manage to have a lovely restful weekend and we will see Year 6 bright-eyed and bushy tailed on Monday for our Grammar SAT. We know they will do their absolute best and we are very proud of them. The children have brought home a letter for them to read whenever they wish and a copy has been sent via email to you as parents as well. As always, thank you for the support you show ourselves as a school and your fantastic children - it really does make a difference!
