Summer 2 Week 1

Summer 2 Week 1

It is hard to believe that we are now in our final half term of the year. It really has flown by but we have so much to look forward to still!

This week, 6B have been taking part in their bikeability sessions, learning how to be safe and the skills they need to take their cycling into the real world. Despite the terrible conditions on a couple of the days, the children came in beaming and on top of the world - if not a little soggy! We have also started our new art project based on abstract portraits this week. The final pieces will be self portraits with a little twist so look out for those in the coming weeks! We have also started our production in earnest with a group of children beginning learning some of our show-stopping dances, working our dialogue into our music and singing the very faced paced and wordy songs with the help of Mrs Love and our fabulous Year 5 choir.

There will be many more exciting updates to come in the coming weeks as we continue with production, attend our moving up days at high school, go to Flamingo Land, take part in Junior Warrior, have our final sports day...the list goes on!

Here's to the start of a very, very busy half term! 6 weeks to go, Year 6!
