Permanent for 34.5 hours per week, which includes 2.5 hours of lunchtime supervision
Pay range is from A1/B1 point 3 £24,796 to B3 point 11 £28,142 FTE – to be agreed based on qualifications and experience.
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, who is highly motivated and enthusiastic to working specific children with SEND needs (including dyslexia, autism and ADHD).

You will need to be totally committed to high standards of learning and children’s well-being. We have the highest expectations of every pupil and strive for them to achieve excellent standards in all that they do, both academically and socially through an exciting and engaging curriculum and wide range of experiences. The role would be to support the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of children in school by providing supervision and care skills to all children, especially those who have special physical, educational and emotional needs. All the duties outlined are carried out under the direction, control and supervision of the classroom teacher.
We expect all staff to understand and implement the content of policies relating to safeguarding including the Child Protection Policy, the Safer Recruitment Policy, Keeping Children Safe in Education, Safer Working Practices and any other relevant policies as applicable. Experience working within a school setting and with children who have SEND needs is desirable, however further training can be given.
