Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants

Primary – 7.5 hours per week – Permanent – A1– starting on 1st September 2020

 

Thank you for expressing an interest in becoming a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant at Farsley Springbank Primary School for 7.5 hours per week. 

 

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join our close knit, hardworking and friendly staff team; our children are keen to learn and our parents and governors are fully supportive of our wonderful school.

 

Your role would be to support the children ensuring they are happy and safe throughout lunchtime, both whilst eating in the school hall and playing outside.  

 

Experience working within a school setting is desirable, however further training can be given.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Form positive working relationships with children, staff and parents.
  • Be an effective team player.
  • Have a good awareness of health and safety in order to keep children safe.
  • Be able to promote suitable games and activities for children to play.

Teaching Assistants - Temporary one year contract

Four posts available

Primary – 27.5 hours per week (8.30am-3.15pm Monday to Friday)

Temporary for 1 year – A1/B1– starting 1st September 2020 until 31st August 2021

 

Thank you for expressing an interest in becoming a Teaching Assistant at Farsley Springbank Primary School. We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants, who are highly motivated and enthusiastic, to join our popular and successful school. There are four posts available across KS1 and KS2. 

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who would thrive on this opportunity to develop his/her experience and make a significant contribution to school, both in and out of the classroom.  We are a close knit, hardworking and friendly staff team; our children are keen to learn and our parents and governors are fully supportive of our wonderful school.

 

Your role would be to support the teachers in delivering the curriculum, including teaching phonics.   This would include working with small groups of children, one to one support and with working children who have special educational needs.   The role will involve assessing and recording pupils’ learning and identifying their next steps in terms of development.

 

Experience working within a school setting is desirable, however further training can be given.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be hard‐working, positive, creative and enthusiastic to inspire and motivate.
  • Consistently ensure the effective learning and progress from all pupils.
  • Form positive working relationships with children, staff and parents.
  • Be an effective team player.
  • Have English and Maths skills certified to Level2/GCSE grade C as a minimum.
