School Trips

Year 1 - Snowzone

As part of year 1's History's Greatest Explorers topic, pupils visit Snowzone to experience what it might have been like to explore Antarctica, just like Robert Falcon Scott.

This exciting, hands-on experience immersed pupils in a cold environment, helping them develop their understanding of cold places and the Antarctic climate. By experiencing the snow and freezing temperatures first-hand, children were able to bring their classroom learning to life and deepen their geographical knowledge.

Year 2 - Local Walk

Year 2 take part in a walk around Farsley to investigate the features of their local area and compare them with those of Beijing. This first-hand experience helps pupils understand how places can be both similar and different across the world.
