On Tuesday, Year 6 headed off to Eden Camp to learn more about our World War 2 topic. The children had chance to experience 1940s music, entertainment and wartime life, visiting the huge array of exhibits on display at the museum. Children experienced the noise and chaos of an air raid in The Blitz, had chance to sit in an air raid shelter, become a tank driver and stand up close and personal with some of the heavy artillery and machinery from the time. Despite the drizzly conditions, the children said they really enjoyed their trip and were wanting to take their families back to the museum.
