Harlow Carr trip 05.07.23

This week Year 1 went on a trip to RHS Harlow Carr to support our plants topic. Throughout the day, the children went on a plant hunt looking for edible plants in the kitchen garden and planted their own edible plant to take home in the greenhouse. 

We also had the chance to show off our prior knowledge by taking part in some activities sorting fruit and vegetables and thinking about where certain foods come from. 

We had chance to explore the beautiful gardens and grounds at Harlow Carr and had a lovely day!
