Mosaics:
Our art project this half term has focused on the architect, Antoni Gaudi. He was a designer from Spain who specialised specifically in creating bright and colourful mosaics around Barcelona. Using Gaudi's work as inspiration, the children then had a go at designing and making their own mosaic from cut pieces of tile. Once they had them positioned, they then had a go at grouting them into place! We were so impressed with their grouting skills!
