Nell Bank 10.09.24
This week, Year 3 spent a day at Nell Bank where they enjoyed travelling back to prehistoric Britain. As a group, they built shelters from sticks and animal skin; just as Stone Age people would have. They also attempted to light a small fire using flint and steel, which as they discovered was not an easy task! Whilst sat in a real Stone Age house, the children enjoyed weaving baskets, learning about tools and creating cave paintings made from squashed chalk and water.
