Sinai Synagogue 06/07.10.21
As part of the current Judaism topic in RE, the children visited Sinai Synagogue in Roundhay. They learnt all about the Torah and the various symbols used in the faith. The children even handled a yad and used it to read the scrolls. On top of this, they learnt about the importance of wearing a tallit when praying and that the knots and twists represent the 613 commandments written in the Torah.
