Music in Year 3
Every Thursday in Year 3, we are very lucky to be joined by Mr Tong who teaches us how to play the ukulele. We have been practising since September and the children have learnt a variety of different chords which have helped them to play songs such as 'Kookaburra'. This week, the children had a go at writing their own verse of a song and then played it out loud to the rest of the class. Mr Tong was very impressed with how creative they were!
Also, Miss Robertson has been teaching the year 3 children how to play different rhythms on a boomwhacker! Take a look at some of our photos to see how much fun we had!
