Welcome to Year 6

The Year 6 staff team is made up of class teachers:  Miss Ferguson and Mr Chapman/Mrs Pugh/Mrs Grime and teaching assistants, Miss Bland and Mrs Stafford.

Year 6 is an exciting year with lots of great learning challenges and opportunities.  You can find out more about what Year 6 are learning further down this page as well as lots of photos and information showing the children in action! 

If you have any questions about Year 6, the class teachers will be happy to offer support and help.  You can contact them by email or contact the office to make an appointment. Please note e-mails from parents need to be sent to info@farsleyspringbank.co.uk  Staff will aim to respond to emails within two working days.  If your query is urgent then please contact the school office on 0113 2558719.

As part of our whole school commitment to wellbeing there is no expectation on our staff to read or answer emails sent between 5.30pm and 8am in the week, or any at weekends or holidays. Should your email not receive an immediate reply, this is not a case of being impolite but one of choosing wellbeing ahead of workload.

Year 6 class timetables

Below you will find the timetables for both Year 6 classes; they show when different subjects are taught over the week. We try to ensure the timetables remain flexible so that they best fit the purpose of the learning taking place. This means there will often be changes to the timetables where lessons are swapped around for a specific reason. Sometimes a subject may be blocked in for a day or a week so the children can immerse themselves in their learning.
