This half term, Year 2 have embarked on an exciting learning journey about two inspirational women from the Crimean War - Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. The children have explored the remarkable contributions of these pioneering nurses and how their work has shaped modern nursing. Today, the children delved deeper into the lives and achievements of Florence and Mary. They worked as a team to create a Venn diagram to compare and contrast the two women, considering the impact each had on healthcare and the similarities in their dedication and bravery.
