India Day
Year Four had a fantastic time this week learning more about India and in particular Indian culture by participating in a day all about India! The children began the day by using some of the scarves and clothes that we had to dress up before completing a carousel of activities including cooking a lentil and spinach dahl, Indian dancing and learning more about the food and festivals of India. They completed their day by learning all about the art of mehndi before creating their own mehndi designs on outlines of their hands! A fantastic day was had by all and we cannot wait to learn more about India over the next half term!
