Year 6 trip to Flammingo Land
Year 6 have recently headed off on one of the most hotly anticipated trips of the year - Flamingo Land! Despite a less-than-favorable weather forecast, luck was on our side. Apart from a quick lunchtime downpour, the rest of the day was warm and beautiful and the children certainly didn't let a few raindrops dampen their spirits. It was absolutely wonderful to watch the children relax, have fun and represent our school so brilliantly. Given the independence of remote supervision, our pupils truly rose to the challenge and showed fantastic maturity, looked after each other and kept smiles on their faces all day long. Well done, Year 6! We really hope this trip has created lasting, happy memories for them to cherish as they prepare for their transition to high school. They have certainly worked their socks off and were very deserving of a day of rollercoasters, neon blue slush and more sweets than you could shake a stick at!
