Welcome to year 1!
What a lovely week we've had getting to know all the wonderful children.
We have been really impressed with their resilience, attitudes to learning and their enthusiasm as they navigated their first ever week in Year 1.
We have been talking about our rules for oracy with our discussion guidelines - this week we have been practising how to listen actively.
We have been spending time exploring our classrooms and the outdoor areas, learning our routines and expectations - we have been impressed with how the children have been getting to grips with everything.
