Year 4 have had a fantastic start to their new science topic, 'Is there sound in space?' Sam the Sound Man came to talk to the children about how sounds are made, which materials insulate or conduct sound and how sounds becoming higher or lower. In the afternoon, the children were able to put all of their new knowledge to the test when they made their own musical instruments!
