Equality Week 21.10.24
Equality week this year focused on celebrating differences and being ourselves.
The children read the books 'Elmer', 'The spots and The Dots' and 'Odd Dog Out' all of which show characters who are different in some way and how they overcome their differences. The children also read 'The Family Book' and discussed what different types of families looked like. They were challenged to create a family that was different from their own. The children also created their own 'Odd Dog Out' to celebrate who they are as individuals and we had some great conversations.
