Animals in Reception
Animal handling!
This week in reception we have had a special visitor in class. On Monday a corn snake come to visit the children, we all had a look at the snake and some children were even brave enough to touch it!
Throughout the week we have been busy taking care of our chicks. On Monday afternoon, Miss Charles brought in six fluffy chicks! They were an assortment of colours and were very happy to be together. The children have handled them with care and all had a turn at holding the chicks. We have created some excellent observational drawings of chicks, the children really looked carefully at the chick's features while sketching them.
