Week 4 Learning Grid

Hello everyone!

We hope that you all have enjoyed the sunshine this weekend and had lots of fun with your families. This week's Learning Grid is based on the book, Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Don't worry if you don't have the book at home, there is a link to the story being read on YouTube.

We want the children to enjoy the activities on the grid, but remember there is no pressure to complete the learning on the grid. Choose what activities motivates your child and do them for as long as they are interested for (We recommend around 30 minutes, some activities may take more or less time).

On the Learning Grid there are links to websites that are useful to help you and your child complete the activities. You need to press control and click the link. 

This week the DFE has produced daily phonics lessons. We have put the link in the documents section below. The lessons link to Letters and Sounds which is the phonics programme we follow at school. The letter has links to the lessons that are posted daily.

Have fun learning, if you would like to send us some photos or videos of your learning please post them on Tapestry or email us, it's always a pleasure to see the children learning at home. Also if you need any help please don't hesitate to contact us.
