Independent Writing 19-09-19

On Thursday, the children used all their new sentence writing skills to independently retell the story of 'Man on the Moon'

We talked beforehand about the importance of keeping the story in the right order so the children had some pictures to help them. We have been learning to write sentences that make sense using the 'Who', 'Doing what' 'where' sequence as well as practising our fingers spaces, full stops and phonics. Some children began to use time conjunctions to sequence their work such as First, Next, After that, Finally.

You will be able to read the children's fantastic writing at the Space showcase later on in the term.
