Howard Carter and the tomb of Tutankhamun 17.03.21
Today, the children transported back to 1922 to the day Howard Carter and his team discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun! We used lanterns and candles to explore the tomb and found a variety of different artefacts inside including gold and jewels! We then hot seated some of the children and did some drama to discuss how Howard Carter would have felt that day and throughout the build up to this amazing discovery! This will help us over the next couple of weeks when we are going to write a diary entry as Howard Carter.
