Bolton Abbey Trip
Yesterday, 3L and 3RS visited Bolton Abbey on a school trip and were blessed with some beautiful weather! Both classes had the opportunity to explore the grounds and even had a go at using some of their art skills to sketch the surrounding landscape. We visited the abbey and the children observed the difference between the 14th century and 19th century stained glass windows. After lunch, the children took part in a workshop led by some of the members of staff at Bolton Abbey. They used their map skills to take a closer look at the landscape and rivers!
