Creating our pulley
As part of our forces learning, the children looked at ways that we can change the direction, speed and amount of different forces today. We looked at levers, gears and pulleys and began to think about when we might use these in real life. The children tested this knowledge (and their listening skills!) by creating their own pulley to make lifting objects easier. It was a tricky task but the children were really impressed by their homemade pulleys!
