Science week:
This year’s science week was based on the theme: ‘time’, as it is the 30th anniversary of 'British Science Week' so this theme celebrates the passing of time since the Week began, and looking to the future! To investigate this theme, Year 5 have took part in a variety of different scientific experiments, one of their favourites being the 'water clock'.
In this experiment, the children had to use their knowledge of forces and gravity to filter water from one part of the bottle to the other. They had to change different variables to see if this effected the time taken for the water to fall.
