First week in Year 1 08.09.23
What a lovely first week the children have had in Year 1.
They have impressed us greatly, getting to know the routines and how year 1 works. They have been working super hard to complete their challenge menu whilst exploring their new classrooms.
This week the children have been sorting objects, counting objects, building bridges for the The Billy Goats Gruff, writing their name with a capital letter and using sketching pencils to create different shades as well as playing some wonderfully creative games, painting, drawing and reading.
Lots of these pictures were taken by the children too!
