Sewing practice
Today, year 4 started their sewing project, to create a tapestry which represents Springbank, inspired by the Leeds Tapestry. The children practiced using applique (running and blanket stitch) and cross stitch and then decided which one they preferred in preparation for designing and creating their final piece next week.
