Autumn 2 Book Reveal

 

The travelling suitcase arrived back in Year 4 this week, complete with book covers for the two books that we have read this year so far, 'The Lost Thing' by Shaun Tan and 'Cogheart' by Peter Bunzl.

As in Autumn 1, the suitcase brought with it a number of clues that the children had to use to predict what story the suitcase had brought them this time. The final clue in the suitcase, an image of a lone lamp post shining brightly in the snowy, night sky helped the children to discover that their new class novel is 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe' by C.S.Lewis. The children were all thrilled with their new novel and were excited to get started with reading it!
