Intimate Care Policy

Intimate Care Policy

Children and young people who receive intimate care have the right for this to be provided in a dignified and appropriate way consistent with their level of need, and is agreed by everyone involved (agency/organisation, child or young person and their parents or carers).

Our Intimate Care policy below provides an overview of things to be considered in order to provide consistent and appropriate levels of intimate care and is based on Leeds Safeguarding Children's Partnership local protocols - Intimate Care Good Practice Guidelines and Policy which can be found here Intimate Care Leeds Safeguarding Children Partnership
