Science Week - Pond dipping & Making fossils 27.03.23
The theme of this year's Science Week is 'Making Connections'.
On day 1, the children in year 1 learned about Mary Anning and her contributions to science through her discoveries of dinosaur fossils. The children made salt dough and used fossils replicas to imprint a fossil onto their dough.
The children also went outside to the pond in the school garden to pond dip and think about how the pond habitat connect species of animals together - in the photos you may even spot a visitor!
