The Very Hungry Caterpillar
This week we have been learning the story of The very Hungry caterpillar. In Talk for Writing, we have learnt actions to help us retell the story and then drew a story map to help us remember the main parts of the story. Next week we will use our story maps to help write the story in our own words. In the creative area, we have been making some fantastic prints of caterpillars using apples. We have also been using The Very Hungry caterpillar in maths, where we learnt how to share the food he ate fairly so that he didn't get a stomach ache again!
